Week 39

This is the post I was intending to do on Sunday, August 18...

On Tuesday I went to prenatal aquacize where I was put in the "whirlpool" where all the ladies go round in a circle to make a current then we all turn and try and go against it.  The theory goes that if your cervix is ready it could bring on labour...It was really meaningful to have both Cori and Jessie be part of that for me.  But no baby that day!

Wednesday we went to the doctor and I was now 4" dilated and 90% effaced.  She stripped my membranes that day - something that releases hormones that can bring on labour. No baby that day!

I cleaned out the fridge too - can't remember what day - let's say Thursday. No baby that day!

I called Jolene up to go to the pool on Friday afternoon - it was wonderful! Friday night Jeff and I had a nice date night and went out for supper and a movie. No baby that day!

Saturday I decided I would do some walking in the mall - too hot outside!  Auntie Julie came for a visit and brought me these beautiful roses!

Jocelyn came over and we completed a vase with butterflies from the girls on it to take to the hospital.  I made a nice supper for us and we ate outside on our patio.  I even found some figs for us to eat - such a treat!

And here was my belly taken Saturday night, the last day of my 39th week.  No baby that day!
